Summer Art Academy
" Introduction to drawing and painting "
(registration at bottom of page)
In this course, I will teach the skills that the artist can “reliably” use to bring their drawing and painting to the next level. The methods and techniques we will use are the same taught by professors and master artists at the world’s finest colleges and ateliers.
The student will be taught the still-life artform (theory and practical with how-to demonstrations) to learn to see and then capture the beauty that surrounds us in our everyday worlds. Each day we will work to produce a completed “study” project. Each new day builds on top of the previous day’s lesson.

Who should attend?? Any student 13 years or older who like to draw or paint, is curious about art, who is creative and expressive, who want to improve their art.

Class times and location:
5 days. Monday-Friday. Meeting daily from 9am - 12pm. On Friday, we will have a catered lunch for the students and parents. Students will show their work.
